iiSuperWomanii- Lady of the week

"There is no shame in falling down. But there is pride in getting back up." -Lily Singh

It's not a secret that I love anything YouTube and the community around it. If I have a bad day, my favorite thing to do if I don't have the energy to write is to sit down and watch a funny or thoughtful video to pass the time. YouTube is perfect for me. Having small tiny vlogs to watch can really make me smile and I don't have to deal with the suspenseful cliff hangers that my favorite shows love to leave me with. And one of my favorite Youtubers to watch is Lily Singh.

She was born on September 26 1988 in Ontario Canada, and has probably been making people smile since day 1. She is such an inspiration to me, I am honestly surprised that she doesn't get the same hype that other Youtuber's get. In my opinion she deserves that hype and more because she is creating waves of positivity  and laughter without bringing other people down. And that type of positivity is desperately needed at this point in time with all the negative things happening in the world.

You can literally see the effort she puts into every video. She comes up with characters and sketches that instead of becoming a distraction, propel the video forward and just makes me laugh and giggle even more. I dare to say that her characters are just as loved as she is.

Even when she reviews videos, or events, Superwoman doesn't poke fun at other people. Most people wouldn't have the will power to do that, because poking fun of other people is the easiest thing someone can do. Yet she sets that asides and makes positive jokes and reviews the awesome things that occur. Focusing on the positive and not the negative is such an awesome trait.

She's brave- I mean she stuck her head in the toilet to beat other guys in a dare video. She has an awesome sense of style. She is dedicated to making other people happy. And she doesn't look at others at competitions just as companions. If you watch her vlogs you will see her going out and supporting other Youtuber's, even if they aren't her best friends because team internet needs all the help and love it can get.

iiSuperwomanii is a breath of fresh air, and I am so happy I found her way back when. She has a mindset that I aspire to gain when I am older and I hope I could sit down and have a conversation with her one day.

Scroll Down to see a list of my favorite videos from her! Who are your inspirations? Let me know in the comments below!

“No hay vergüenza en caerse. Pero hay orgullo en pararse otra vez. “-Lily Singh

Estos son mis videos favoritos de ella- Here are some of my favorite videos:

  1. 5 MINUTES OF EPIC MOTIVATION
  2. How Girls Get Ready..
  3. #Leh
  4. 300 T-shirt Rap
  5. How My Parents See Things
Have a Wonderful day guys :) And don't forget to leave me some feedback :)

First Thought Fridays. Week 1.

Hey guys! So every Friday this summer in an attempt to become a better writer I'm going to write a small poem and record/share it with you guys. It will just be about what I have been experiencing that week. Hope you like it. And don't forget to share your thoughts with me! Listen Here

Growing Up Doesn't Have To Suck

From the moment we are born,
the moment we learn to think,
we develop a silly little thing called desire.

We desire to learn,
to think,
to develop,
we begin to wish that the fun in life never ends,
that only the fun days last forever.

We long for the long winter nights,
the sweater weather.
Cuddled up in bed,
watching Netflix with a cup of tea.

Until we get sick of the ice,
and want summer to come back
so we can play rugby,
spend our days laid out in the grass,
doing homework or just acting stupid.

Nothing seems to last forever.
Everything just seems to end too soon.
And suddenly we're older,
friends start to change,
girls obsess over beauty or boys,
everything begins to feel limited.
Just when the doors to universe begin to open.
With one foot out the door,
we are told hat we have to mold our desires into a career.
Into our lives.

And have it remain the same forever.
But desires aren't stable,
they are adaptable,
how can we know what we want now is what we want forever.

But we will be okay,
we'll keep on smiling,
we'll refused to be a ghost with a reflection.
Express ourselves without constraint.
And with our desires
we'll form our own happy ending.

YouTube and Reviews

Hola guys :)

Okay first of all I kind of want to do some ad reviews. Have you seen the new manga mascara commercial. It makes me feel uncomfortable...... I don't know. I might do that soon.

So as some of you may know, especially from my last post is that I am the proud owner of a YouTube Channel that I have wanted to have for so so long. When I had my old posts up I use to reference it like crazy. But this year I have decided to start from scratch. I don't have any professional camera yet, I film with my handy dandy iphone but coming September I will have a lovely camera to work with... from my dorm room.

Anyway , in case you haven't guessed because you don't know me in real life. I want this channel to be a mix of things, educational, lgbt communities, religion,  following my journey to become a fit and awesome rugby player. I want to have DIY's for skincare and fashion or decor. I'll do those stupid but hilarious challenges that always circle the internet. I accept challenges that y'all suggest by the way. I want to create a safe place were people can come and discuss their emotions and be all gushy mushy or straight up. I want a lot of things. If anyone else was allowed to run around in my brain I'm pretty sure that they would explode forever and ever because let me tell you I have so many ideas. Sometimes I can't even catch up with myself.

And I know my quality isn't the best, but stay with me, it will get better over time. But leave a comment, let me know if there is anything you want me to do. I am open to anything and I really just want to connect with you!

Thanks, mucho amor!

Things The Internet Taught Me

Hey guys, this is just a quick and fun little video that I made last night when I lost my wifi. I'd appreciate if you clicked on it and gave me some feedback. I know the quality isn't great but it was either my phone or my webcam and my phone looks a tiny bit better. Lots of Love, Cielo.
